2008 CHICORA FARMER'S MARKET

GRAND OPENING

APRIL 23 - 3PM

    In the fall of 2007 Metanoia sought to alleviate a scarcity of produce in our community through the creation of a pilot program of the "Chicora Farmer's Market."  The market ran for two months last fall and was successful enough to bring back this spring for the entire summer.  This summer we have a lot planned for our market including weekly community information venders, games for kids and a Grand Opening on April 23rd.  Join North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey and others as we 'cut the ribbon' on the 2008 Chicora Farmer's Market. 

    The Market will be open every Wednesday during the summer from 3pm to 7pm.  It begins a week before the Grand Opening on April 16th.  Please come out and shop and enjoy the great community that comes as a result of people meeting one another at the market.

The following local organizations will be present at the Ribbon Cutting to distribute information and answer questions about their services in the community.
