Metanoia's Annual Christmas Banquet now has a new name:  The Metanoia Christmas Jubilee!  Metanoia seeks to continue its focus on relationships by turning the banquet into a jubilee, a celebration of community renewal and restoration.   Jubilee in the Old Testament represented a year of holy celebration, of redemption and social justice.  Debts were forgiven, the needy were raised up, the weary rested, and fruits of harvest were shared in a feast of God's provisions. 

At Metanoia, we plan to bring these elements of celebration into our Christmas banquet as we enjoy each other's company and share a meal of God's blessings with one another.  Metanoia's students will put on a play for guests as we continue a tradition that has inspired so many to begin the Christmas season in the correct frame of mind.
